Sonesta Posadas del Inca Puno in Puno

Good: Our second stay had the same great views, and fun animals (alpaca and cuy) We tried dinner at the hotel restaurant one night and it was excellent quality. They had bonfires each night and fire places throughout the hotel to keep you warm.

Bad: They gave us a double room even though we had a king room booked. They also didn't provide the same personal touches as our first visit. No notes and no small gifts.

Good: A perfect view of lake Titicaca creates a relaxing atmosphere. There are alpaca and Guinea pigs roaming the grounds that are delightful. The breakfasts are excellent and they gave us small welcome gifts of chocolate most days.

Bad: Tour prices were high, you can find better value by going to the port directly.
