Sonesta Hotel Arequipa in Arequipa

Good: The staff! warm and knowledgeable. Polite. Caring, Special thanks to Milagros and Gloria. The property itself is impressive, stone and glass and typical details, tastefully displayed. The bathroom is a delight; spacious, luminous, well equipped. The bedroom is beautiful with everything we needed and no more. The dining room on the fifth floor with a nice terrace overlooking the volcanoes is also comfortable and enjoyable- it has some explanations about the volcanoes that are brief, to the point and useful. So, great infrastructure but even better that that; the people!

Bad: The food. Arequipa is a foodie destination. Maybe because of the pandemic, lack of enough customers, availability restrictions or something else, it was good, but not great. However, the breakfast was abundant, varied and well done.

They had an amazing customer service, specially in the restaurant. The staff was amazing and very friendly !!! (Gloria, Fatima, Milagros, Toñito, Nicolas, Ernesto, Andres and Junior) They were always very attractive making sure that we had a great time while we were there, they were always checking up on us making sure that we had received everything with great service. Every day they clean and disinfected the room entirely which I loved specially in this time that everything should be clean thoroughly because of the pandemic. We stayed for 12 days at the hotel in Arequipa and I strongly recommend it, I definitely go back there if I have the chance to stop by Arequipa again
