Good: - Excellent location, easy walk to walled city - Wonderful rooftop area with pool & bar - gorgeous view and nice breeze - Lovely breakfast, we loved the assortment of fruits! - Very clean facilities - Gorgeous hotel, loved the open-air veranda - Above everything, the hotel staff is absolutely phenomenal, Jonathan, Rafael, Eduardo, Edward, Juranis, Marlys our room attendant, and I'm forgetting names of the two gentleman working together the night of Saturday the 23rd. The staff's attention to detail was stellar. An immense thank you to everyone for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable! ------------- - Excelente ubicación, fácil acceso a pie a la ciudad amurallada. - Maravillosa área en la azotea con piscina y bar - hermosa vista y agradable brisa - Desayuno encantador, ¡nos encantó la variedad de frutas! - Instalaciones muy limpias. - Precioso hotel, me encantó la terraza al aire libre. - Por encima de todo, el personal del hotel es absolutamente fenomenal, Jonathan, Rafael, Eduardo, Edward, Juranis, Marlys nuestra encargada de la habitación y se me olvidan los nombres de los dos caballeros que trabajaron juntos la noche del sábado 23. La atención del personal al detalle fue estelar. ¡Muchísimas gracias a todos por hacer que nuestra estancia fuera tan cómoda y agradable!

Bad: These are small suggestions that I think can make a big difference: (overall - our stay was wonderful!) - Provide a way to allow guests to communicate whether or not to service our room, such as a "Do not disturb" sign to hang outside the door. - The mattress and pillows were not the most comfortable for us. Providing two different kinds of pillows would be a good way to give guests variety for comfort. - When we first arrived, our rooms stayed nice and cold. However, a few days into our stay, the remotes to the A/C units were changed to what appeared to be universal remotes. I'm not sure if this was the reason but the A/C both upstairs and downstairs stopped working properly. This is a big issue in a place where the temperatures are so hot on a daily basis. We found it difficult to sleep during the second half of our stay due to A/C not functioning properly. I did report this to the front desk so hopefully it's already on the radar. - More protein options at breakfast.
